Commercial banking services are not available to a large number of people in Africa, who instead depend on Savings and Credit Co-Operatives (SACCO’s) for saving and lending money.

These SACCO’s often have thousands of members and administrate large sums of money, requiring a stable and transparent IT system that can provide the necessary statement and reports. Unfortunately, no really satisfactory and affordable SACCO systems have been available – until now, that is.

Vega has developed VEGASACCO with the assistance of experienced SACCO personnel and based on Navision powerful and reliable database.
The result is a high performing micro-banking system comprising e.g. member register, guarantor register, deduction lists, defaulters lists, cash disbursement journals, loan processing, interest calculation, dividend calculation etc.

And the pricing is very competitive and related to each SACCO’s income base, being based on the number of members of the individual SACCO.

One important tool, that is not a standard feature in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, is a payroll system. And for a very good reason: whereas business logic is the same everywhere, payroll regulations vary so much from country to country that it is impossible to develop a globally applicable payroll system.

Vega Software has developed a payroll system, VEGAPayroll, which is a Navision add-on, fully integrated with Navision’s Human Resource and General Ledger modules.
